Why Google sucks.

For a while I've been struggling to put my finger on it. It's blatantly obvious Google sucks, and it just seems to be going down the suckage chute lately. But why, exactly ? A friend of mine incidentally answered this one for me.

The big daddy update was the best thing that ever happend, if your doing bh seo. If its wh, well not so much but at least things are starting to stabilize again. These updates just take time to set in.

What angle are you coming from on this, a webmaster who can't get his/her website to rank well, or a user who can't find good search results? When I search for something I can generally find what I want pretty quickly, so I don't think google sucks.

I disagree, google definetly has a lot of peoples livelyhoods hanging by a thread, google is the puppet master we are merely puppets, well my view ...

basically google even admit they have problems but like any major company they are likely to play them down. In which case the problems are bigger than they are likely to admit.

Google doesn't suck as such, but its engine at the mo does, spammy and supplemental results demonstrate this. plus my adsense has dropped 70%

Googles great if you have a bunch of websites that are like > 4 years old

I wish I had registered about 100 domains 4 years ago, got them a little link pop

and just let them marinate

but thats from a purely seo point of view

google results might be the best, but if you search on all 3 engines googles's results don't even really stand out anymore
