Logo Design for HerbalDoc.com

I need a logo design for HerbalDoc.com. Currently, this site is not active, but will be an ecommerce website that offers herbal and home remedies.

I have found that a logo looks good when you have three main elements: a graphic, the name of your site, and a slogan. Obviously, you know the name of the site. The slogan is: "Helping People Live Healthier & Longer" but, I leave the graphics and coloring of the logo up to you.

The contest is for 48 hours or until a clear winner is decided on. Please PM if you have any questions.

HerbalDoc.com .. critique please

 

OVERALL LOGO FEEDBACK

I really appreciate everyone's entries. Overall they are really good. A few suggestions to assist you in your redesigns. For the graphic that is used in the logo, I am looking for a design that creates more of a mascot. An example to model your designs after would be from the winners of my last contest (forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=894917). The winner used a chef in the design, which will be used as the site mascot.

Another helpful tip for your redesigns looks at the fonts used. Most of the fonts are really plain. I am looking for the HerbalDoc logo to have character and energy, and having a plain font doesn't accomplish this.

@JMP Designs: Very nice color scheme. However, the leafs over the "L" look like rabbit ears.

@cody331: Not a fan of the design. Too much green, and don't care for the font.

@jackieh1791: The color scheme gives the look of a dying leaf. I am looking more for a spring look and feel. Also, not really a fan of the font.

@moneylizard: Too plain for my taste.

@hanidesigns: The color scheme seemed to be too washed out. Also, not a big fan of the leaves over the "b".

@dimitri123: Don't really care for your tree graphic.

@anidesign: I go back and forth on your designs. However, you need to add the slogan to all of them. I will need to see the logos with the slogan before I can give meaningful feedback.

@ghosthost: The design is too St. Patrick's Day for me. Also, "HerbalDoc.com" is too small.

@casio: All three of your designs come across to corporate for me. Plus, I don't care for the font or color scheme.

@mimico: Do not like the fonts on any of your designs.

@watari (entry #01): Really like the design, but do not like the font for either the name or slogan (plus, the slogan color doesn't match the rest of the logo).

@watari (entry #02): Not as much of a fan of this design. Again, the fonts come across really plain to me.

@A-Q: Don't care for the graphic.

@itrungs: Way too neon for my liking.
