Here's some basic ninja SEO tools that we've been using as part of our clients basic link structure. Everybody knows that forums are a great resource not only to find more about the industry your marketing but it can also be a great part of your link structure. I don't suggest to have all forum links pointing towards your site but I would say at least 5% of your links would be a fair percentage w/ out looking to gamed. Steps: Log on to www.google.com In Google searchbox type in site:.com/phpbb2 intitle:"your keyterm" In additional you can add intext:register and go straight to the registration page Go to each RELEVANT forum and become a member and add signature links for all RELEVANT forums You can also leverage the query string phpbb w/ out the 2 and find additional forums, and if you're looking for .edu, .gov, .co.uk forums do the same search w/ that praticular query string. ok enough free advise.
this works great when you combine it with automatic form entry software such as the firefox addon informenter
very nice tip! makes searching for relevant communities easier. thanks for the tip, ill go gice it a try.
good point...I've used the trial version of roboform: http://www.download.com/RoboForm/3000-2092_4-10037672.html
This should also work for IPB 1.3.1 and SMF and MyBB boards. phpbb is the best as they die the quickest .

great tip for link building... I am not sure if they would necessarily be high PR pages... I rarely come across a forum that has high PR threads... mostly the main forum and a few sub categories... but you can't place your link on those pages anyways.... hmmm good post!
