Ok folks, I'm new here so I decided to toss up a post with 5 ways to make $100+ per day. I'm not selling an ebook or trying to get you to read my blog. These are just good ideas to keep in mind. I'd love to hear your opinions, feedback, and ideally to hear some of your suggestions/methods! 1.) Freelancing. Offer a service, such as writing (content creation), design, coding, SEO, etc. I know many people who don't even have sites that exclusively provide services and make well over $100/day. Can it be scaled? Outsourcing is key to scaling. 2.) PPC. You all know what it is. Don't listen to ANYONE who says "that market is way too saturated." Keep this in your mind: there is no such thing as an oversaturated market. Yes, this includes things like ringtones, nike, dating, adult, etc. PPC-Coach is fantastic for learning, but there are so many resources on how to properly optimize PPC campaigns you shouldn't have trouble learning, even without PPC-Coach. A final note: Yes, PPC does require an initial investment, but it isn't nearly as much as some would like you to believe. Can it be scaled? Yes, nearly endlessly. Paul Bourque wrote an excellent article on scaling, despite his recent criticisms. The article can be found here: http://uberaffiliate.com/affiliate-tips/how-to-scale-a-campaign/ 3.) The Shotgun Approach. This is a fairly popular method and you've probably heard of it before. Design 100 (or more) sites for which the goal of each is to make $1/day. $1/day is NOT difficult to achieve on nearly any site by means of CPC (adsense or others), ebay (phpbay, BANS, etc), and/or CPA offers. Can it be scaled? Yes. Just keep building sites. Make 100 sites that each earn $1/day over the course of a year. Tweak them as you go to hit the $2/day mark. As you can see, the "shotgun approach" will quickly add up your revenues. You are also highly diversified (one site dies/goes down/stops performing - oh well, no big deal). It's a lot of work, but very possible to make $100+ daily. 4.) Classifieds Marketing. I know a lot of you play in this arena. Classified sites like Kijiji, Gumtree, and quite especially Craigslist are all goldmines. Most people think that doing anything regarding online sales for these sites is "spamming" or "blackhat", when in fact it's very possible to do entirely whitehat marketing and profit handsomely. I, personally, don't subscribe to any particular hat color, so I do a bit of everything with these kinds of sites when it suits my needs. Can it be scaled? Yes, quite so. Consider the number of classified sites and the many, many automation tools available. It's possible to make well over $100/day - even automated. 5.) The "Super" Affiliate. No, I'm not talking about everyone's favorite bloggers (cough). I'm talking about building a downline (2nd tier, 3rd tier, etc). Essentially people who sign up through your link for various affiliate networks or programs. I have to admit that this will certainly not be your fastest way to $100/day, but it's a good little "side project" to keep going. Once a few heavy hitters are under you, you'll see the effects. Have a friend who does very well in a certain niche? Get him to sign up under you and test the offers at your network - he just might like it better. Can it be scaled? The more people sign up through your link, the more you'll make (provided they make money).
Hello, Karat welcome to digitalpoint it's a great post thanks for sharing I would like to add some infos to the second point, regarding ppc if you;re about to enter the so called oversaturated market, make sure you enter the not so saturated part of it. in other words, i would say...enter the more specific niche instead of the more general one. You get more targeted traffic and more biz to come and it's much better to stay focused, i dont say it is bad to have a lot of sites but when you focus on the main few niches, and keep it going...You tend to make more
i'm mostly working the 'shotgun' approach myself. definitely works. its not that hard to make a site that grosses $1/day on average....keep at it and after a year or two one should be doing pretty well.
Great advice. Freelancing is one of the easiest, most honest ways to make money online. If you're interested, sign up at Elance.
Great write-up, rep added. But let's face it, none of them is easy as more and more people are flooding into the life of online business. Okay by some further reading I have some questions for you, man. =) 1. The Shotgun Approach - I thought this was fantastic, but can anyone of you think of some shortcomings of this approach? I'm yet to develop 100 sites but, are they manageable? Also, quite lot of adsense publishers got banned seem to own a lot of inferior small sites.. 2. How much do you make and which is your primary approach? I'm currently stuck in freelancing.. lol. Really great write-up, it inspires and boots my confidence, thanks, man!
This is a good write-up, but i have to disagree that some niches can be become saturated. I mean there's only so many ringtone websites that can actually be helpful
I don't even know where to start all I have been doing is reading for about a year. What host, How to set up page, how to add adsence. I have thought about my nitches and have a few. any help would be appreciated.
I don't see why it's sooooo good ? it's just a series of definitions, it doesn't offer the gold, or the rainbow to the pot .... sure it covers each idea briefly but very loosely .... I have a problem with this one, OK you can have 100 blogger blogs or free sites, but then you are restricted to the simple applications, bandwidth, simple code or basic script. If you have 100 sites then you need 100 URLs - OK 100 .info's may cover that, but then there's an investment of $300 minimum, if you need hosting then there's a lot of accounts that need to be created - so hosting monthly would exceed $100. Then there's constant content - OK so it's do able with auto content or you can out source some work for posts - which means more dollars ..... but this one is a tough one and isn't as easy as some would say ....
If I had $1 for every time said they could make $100 a day by making 100 sites that made $1 a day, I'd have at least 2 or 3 billion more dollars in my bank account. I'd be willing to bet that 99.5% of those people haven't achieved this. Making $1 a day with a few sites is cake. Doing it over 100+ (I know from experience) takes a ton more effort. You can't simply make a few coins and extrapolate the idea out. Doesn't work that way, sorry. Can always tell who's done it and who hasn't. Why stop at 100? If you can make $1 per day per site, why not build 1 million? LOL 6. To make $100 a day, get a job. It's not that hard. Seriously, it's one thing to give general advice (do PPC, do affiliate marketing, make 100 sites). It's another to contribute some "meat."
