A Los Angeles woman claims she was injured by her Victoria's Secret thong, prompting her to sue the underwear manufacturer. The plaintiff in the case, Macrida Patterson, 52, attributed the May 2007 injury to a Victoria's Secret "low-rise v-string". Patterson's lawyer said that a "design problem" caused a decorative metallic piece on the underwear to fly up and hit Patterson in the eye while she was putting the underwear on. Patterson's product liability lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court last week. Prior to the lawsuit, officials from Victoria's Secret had asked to see the offending underwear but were refused by Patterson's lawyer. PIC: A Victoria's Secret Model
Maybe lingerie manufacturers need to put a disclaimer that flying metal decorations may injure the wearer's eyes. Next time when someone buys a lingerie I guess the disclaimer form they have to sign may be thicker than a dictionary
Wow, i have heard storuies like this before involving walmart and a curling iron. its funny what people will do to get more money,
Incredible, I worked for Victorias's Secret a Good number Years, we dealt with all kinds, but this is an interesting one, I'm curious as to what the turn out will be
Well said. When the disclaimer is such big, then buyers will be scouting for products without any disclaimer
