this happened overnight. I was in the top 5 for a keyword phrase, and had been for a while now, suddenly I can scroll throught the first 5 pages and my site still doesnt exist? any need to panic?
Showing 1590 BL's and 700 pages... they may be just 'sorting' their database out to try to match what MSN and G have been doing lately...
maybe so. Holding steady on the first page of MSN and climbed from the 5th to the 3rd page in google since last night. I sure hope this yahoo thing is temporary. Been getting a ton of traffic in the last month via yahoo.
Not sure whether to take that as good or bad, but yeah, that is the site I am referring to. Search engines can be so damned annoying sometimes.
I don't think you have anything to worry about. Your rankings will most likely come back. I just called the CEO of Yahoo! and he verified that for me. And yes, SE's can be annoying but where would we be without them? Hell, I'd be BROKE!
Hey i guess i'd be broke as well For Yahoo don't be surprised it does that sometimes, and even the same day your site can show on first page then on page 5 later. The thing is that mostly it is the result of a new update and that the new ranking (that is up or down) is often the final one until the next update.
I dont have time for faith right now. I have been home sick with the flu for 2 days and all I have done is stare at this damn computer and watch things like my search engine rankings.
Well, if you're not in Google and not in Yahoo!, it might be time to re-think your strategy and start over. Although, I suppose this Yahoo! thing could be temporary.
the site is only six months old, I have results in google at about 350 - 450 although when i search with the esdf query string after my keywords I am between 2-9 for about 5 key phrases when will this "sandbox" stop! that is i suppose the $64,000 question
