I know it can be done, but I have not yet figured out how to have the keyword that caused an ad to show, appear as the title of the ad. I see the ads all the time where when you search for something like 'racing boat', ads come up from nextag with a title of 'racing boat'. Argh!!!
put in headline: {KeyWordefault Text} where 'Default Text' is the text to put there if the keyword is too large to fit in the space. tip: Use it also in the ad body for great results
Just to expand on that: {KeyWord:} will capitalize all the words {keyword:} will keep it small And 'default' is > 25 characters. - Michael
{KeyWord:} will capitalize the FIRST LETTER of every word {KEYWORD:} Capitalises every word, but can only be used with all caps brand or product keywords like "LG" or "BBC"
the correct is: ('default' + num of chars used outside {} ) < 26 for headline or < 36 for body if you do not follow this rule during edition the line chars become red to warn you.
Cheers, also been looking for how to do this for ages So would Hot {KeyWord:uk trainers} Shoes would that mean that when users search , there keyword would go where {KeyWord:uk trainers} is, so it if it was " Nike" it would be Hot Nike Shoes ? Is this correct ?
yes, but keep in mind that it put there the keyword that you have in your keyword list - it do not put exactly what the user searched for. Using your same example if you have in your keyword list the keyword "Nike" and the user search for "looking for Nike" it will be replaced for "Nike" that is the matching keyword that you have in your list. another case: If you have in your list "Nike special Shoes" for example and the user search exactly for "Nike special Shoes" - it would not fit in the header 25 chars: Hot Nike special Shoes Shoes (28 chars) so Google display the default one: Hot uk trainers Shoes the default one also is always displayed in content network.
Will the ads be more price when you do like this or is it the same? Is there a website have all this written down and more?
No Yellow, Actually in theory you will pay less if you use it: if you use it, you will get a better CTR% - if you get a better CTR% you get a better Quality score - if you get a better Quality Score you pay less for the CPC price. Remember that the price you bid is the max bid price. Sorry, what you mean exactly? - do you want a full documentation about it?
I still do not get it. Its nice but i still do not get it i guess i behind i am a domain junky to many domains to little time So if anyone could take it reeeeal slow and tell me what i need to do
I don't know a web site that explain this. Even AdWords documentation don't explain this. Try search this forum for more posts about it.
Using the exact match keyword in title will increase your CTR and so lower the CPC. In past I had enquire about this Dynamic Title from Google. They reply in a secretive mood and tried to play it down. But they accept it and I always use this. Only problem with this is You keywords has to be laser focused. Otherwise you will have great CTR with worse ROI. Nuttymarketer
