    Is this really necessary? Google says if I enable image ads in my rotation, then I'm automatically enrolled in 3rd party ads.

    What's this have to do with privacy policy? Need you include every 3rd parties name in it, as far as i know, you just name them third parties and that's it.

    Correct. You have to manually opt out if you don't want them, and if you don't opt out then you have to update your privacy policy.

    If you don't use image ads, there's no need to update anything :)

    Image ads are the crap of the CPC world with adsense.... I don't use them
