Hate your ODP title? You can opt out of MSN displaying this in SERPs
I read this on search engine watch- The source info (per msn) is below.
http://blogs.msdn.com/msnsearch/arch...22/603917.aspx just add <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOODP"> to your page. Now we just need the other s.e.'s to implement this too! Last edited by corinaw; May 22nd 2006 at 11:43 am. Reason: typo

I have never seen MSN use my ODP title...the only way I was able to get it to display was if I searched for the name of my company.

To my mind, this just shows that Google is less sensitive to the requirements of its partners than Microsoft -- and that's sad.

Great info, Corina! Google shows my ODP listing title, which was 100% incorrect
 . Nice to know that I can at least fix it in MSN.
