Hi guys, Has anyone heard of http://goosh.org?? It says its the unofficial google shell. Is it of any help?? Any help wud be appreciated. Heard it from http://blog.servercomplete.com/tech/google-shell/
Yes, I just checked this site , first need to type Help command after that we can get lists of other commands with help and It can do web searches, image searches as well as some Wikipedia stuff. Looking good functions in this site. Thanks for sharing. John
Yeah, I've seen it. Looks quite nice for me, being a linux geek, but I'm not sure how many of my family members / friends would appreciate it so much.... And anyway, the google homepage is so minimalistic it's almost like typing in the shell already.
Its wonderful! I have just checked the site and it works fine, tried searching videos for solar energy by writing videos solar at the command prompt and it worked wonderfully well! .. Appreciate the sharing!!!
google-shell on goosh.org is a so-called command based search engine for google. It works almost same as Windows Command Prompt. Shell is basically used for Dos based apps where you write commands and no Graphical User Interface, so goosh.org had tried this windows based shell for google where you write commands to search something.. hope that helps
Actually, it's meant to be more like *nix based systems, not windows. It's in early development status, though, we'll have to wait some time to see it's full potential
I dont even find it's so much useful. Though i was not knowing about this, so thanks for sharing so i just come to know about it's functonality.
