Is my account in danger of being eliminated?

I have had an Adsense account since December...so that would make it 5 months now. I've only earned a total of about $30 since then, and I've read on places that if you don't reach at least $50 in 6 months then Google may terminate your account. Am I in danger? :(

I've never heard anything like that.

I had less then $30 in my adsense account for over a year when I stopped using AdSense.

I know someone who has a "test" adsense account from like a year now with no money in them.

Don't sweat it. It's just an old wives tale.

Yep, jackburton1006 is right. I had a few bucks sitting on my adsense account for several months and nothing happened to me.

I don't know where you got that idea, I've never heard it. And based on all the evidence from these other guys, you're wrong.

Well, and I in fact did read about it, and believe me or not on the Google AdSense pages. Just search for "inactivity" or "terminate" words, and I hope you'll too find that page. However, this inactivity must really be, well inactivity. Not just that you don't earn much. Ehm, how much is "much" anyway, lol ...

Isnt it just Yahoo that kicks out inactive or low performing accounts?
