Hey guys ... I'm looking for a software product that has the functionality of VBulletin in terms of a requiring membership to post, being able to have different forums, being able to see if someone has posted in a thread you start or have responded to, but would like the layout to take on an appearance of a blog. The reason for this is that I want to have PPC ads on it and know that PPC ads on forums have low CTRs while blog layout have a little better CTRs. Hope this makes sense. Does anyone know of such a program? Or should I use VBulletin and get a custom skin and layout designed? thanks in advance

I know WordPress has a plugin that will put a forum right in the blog. Not sure if that will be of any interest but here's the link.
