As you can see, we're already making good sales from some affiliates. What works best is banner advertising on anime and manga blogs or websites. Personally its what i do for my advertising. (sales made by exilus)
fabriciogr It's the same as any music, video, psp, zune, ipod download sites. Basically, these websites simply explain how to use torrents to download files that you require, and Google doesn't like this. They think it's illegal.
fabriciogr I am not sure, but I think Yahoo is fine with this kind of products. You can try asking them, whether they allow this kind of products of not.
I actually didn't know that about adwords. I've been running a campaign for 2 days but just took it down.
One of our affiliates is promoting it via PPC and he made 6 sales in the last 40 hours Results for Yesterday+Today: it only shows 4 because stats haven't updated yet. (Just under, 2 sales+2 refunds, poor affiliate Must hate double-buys) In the last 5 days we've managed an average 4-8 sales/day and our gravity is nearly at 8.61, and rising.

Here are our stats after 30 days of affiliate advertising: We made over 100 sales within our first month We have achieved 11 gravity and rising. New affiliates are adding every day here you can see we have many affiliates, and nearly all our refunds were from sales made by me. Alot of affiliates have changed their advertising campaigns to our site instead. I believe the reason most advertisers won't accept this kind of site is simply because the site infringe others copyright in certain ways. take naruto as an example. VIZ has sole rights to the series and yet there is plenty site offers episodes downloads, this can be also labeled as piracy. So, even this is a good niche to make money, it is hard to promote the site. the best way is to promote it word from mouth. good luck.
not really. the site AND the product is legal. morally, its not but legally, its fine. and alot of people promite it via banners and ppc already.
Its been close to 50 days now our site has been online and our gravity is close to 15. We have managed constants sales from some affiliates and most of them are advertising via banner ads. So far, in 47 days, we have reached our 165 sales milestone: We know our 9% refund is quite bad...but most our refunds come from the sales we made ourselves, our affiliates almost never get refunds or complains.
