In India lots of matters are going on about the movie The DaVinci Code.
Have anyone read the book? what is the status of it all over the world?what do you think about the book/ movie ? I heard that the book is best seller.

 

They have more information about the problem that India is currently facing with the release of Da Vinci Code.

I ain't paying money to see this. Maybe when it comes on TV. Just doesn't look all that great to me.

 

Innitially the book was critisised but now it is best seller.
Critics never liked the book and still it is the best seller. Same may happen with this movie.
at CANS FILM FESTIVAL, critics criticised. One evan say that he never expected Tom Hanks can act so bad.But time will decide what happens to it.

 

that book will add more information that you can't imagine if it is really true...
and you'll have interest to research to prove it is...

Agreed. The DaVinci Code mixes facts with fiction. I'm not going to see this piece of crap, enough I read the book. Nothing special, the ongoing battle between the Vatican and the Holy Blood Line protectors is insane because we all know that Vatican is full of shit as well. THe Holy Blood Line protectors are nothing but freemasons supported by the Vatican. Give me a break. They don't fight each other, they work together. This is yet another attempt to brainwash people so they don't know who to trust. Trust yourself and God and you'll be safe. Every large religious organization is run by the same type of people who seek more power and control over sheeple. Godfearing people do not seek publicity. Dan Brown is nothing but a moron who stole the entire concept from a book published back in 1980's. I can't recall the title right now. The book wasn't even popular back then. Did sheeple change a bit then? Could be, but I'd rather say the leaders are way more powerful these days.

 

Funny. Dan Brown used to be consired a hack writer until he wrote this book and anti-Christian people jumped on it. Lovely.

 

Yup, it were Michael Baigent and Richard Leigh's claim that Dan Brown, the 39-year-old former English teacher from New Hampshire, has "lifted the whole architecture" of the research that they carried out for their non-fiction work The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail, which they co-wrote with Henry Lincoln.

Then Lewis Perdue also had accused brown of lifting plot material from two of his books - The Da Vinci Legacy and Daughter of God which i guess he was cleared off.

In India the movie is on hold, but i guess they may let it off with a disclaimer! Will keep you people updated!

I haven't read the book and I'm not really interested in it. Instead of looking at real conspiracies like 911 and the current immigration issue in the US, people are looking at the Da Vinci Code. I admire Leonard Da Vinci for his achievements, but that is about it.

By the way reviews are in and most of the major newspapers seem to think the movie blows. Rolling Stone basically took it to town, gave it 1 star, and said this:

Sorta confirms my belief based on the commercials. I never "got" what was supposed to be so great about this movie. The trailers looked like crap.

 

I'm seeing it Saturday.

 

Only a fool thinks it is martians. Its venusians. Geesh!

 

I think the movie would kick ass, if they had Tanks reprise his role on "Bosom Buddies" while investigating. That woulda been awesome!

 

I dunno about Tanks, I think Hanks would do a better job.
