Talking Rising gas prices ... and adsense

I just found out the vending machine guy at work increased all 60 cents items to 75 cents !! It must be the rising gas prices which is inflating everything ...

Dont u guys think that the adsense cost per click should also increase ?

more likely the other way round doncha think. Rising fuels costs suck money out of all other budgets including advertising.

this gave me an idea for my first attempt at an adsense site

http://improvegasmileage.blogspot.com/

do you think that would be able to make any money at all? I know theres nothing there yet but I just researched the keyword and it looks promising to me.

It does increase indirectly... AdSense is fed from AdWords, which is a bidding system. The more people advertising, the higher they will drive bids up.

@shawn
Or the number of publishers is faster growing than the number of advertisers and as as result click prices decline.
