Affiliate Program for TextAdMarket

    Hello fellow DP'ers!

    As you can tell by my username, I run TextAdMarket.com. Tonight I am kicking off our affiliate program for the site.

    About:
    - Anyone can join
    - Simply register a standard TextAdMarket account (free)
    - In your member control panel click "Affiliate Program", then signup
    - We are paying a 10% commission on the total sale price of ad credit that refered visitors buy.
    - We have an optional 468x60 banner you can use
    - You are free to advertise in forums, blogs, or on your website

    The minimum amount of ad credit that a person can buy on TextAdMarket is $20. So, with 10% commission, you are always guaranteed to make $2 per sale.

    Does someone have a list of affiliate directories I can submit my affiliate program to for free? Because I am self-hosted and don't want to go through CJ or the other, I'd like to just submit to some free open directories for the time being.

    Because publishers don't bring funds into the site, I haven't added something for referring them yet. However, once the site expands (and we have a more stable revenue), I will be adding something for referring publishers. I haven't sat down and coded it yet, so I don't know whether I'll be paying a flat amount for a new publisher, or a percentage based on the publisher's performance. But for now, I'm just paying for advertisers. Great question!
