Sifting through my traffic reports, I found myself looking at different SERPs on MSN... Interesting that they show different search results #'s for different terms... for example: Wrestling shows "#6" results on the first page: http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=wrestling&FORM=QBRE while Wrestling Shoes shows "9". http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=wrestling+shoes&FORM=QBRE a search for Ben Sherman's shows "10" http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=Ben+Sherman%27s&FORM=QBRE I've been trying to understand why they would do this, perhaps to narrow the choices and appear more accurate? What are your opinions?
Not to mention if you keep clicking to the next page, not only does it cahnge but it seems to skip results: 1-6 of 32,628,832 - Page 1 11-18 of 32,628,832 - Page 2 21-30 of 32,628,832 - Page 3 It seems it is screwed up just like when you use the link: command and it changes after 10 pages. __________________ Health Forum | Submit your site - No Recip Needed | Get Your Site Ranked Quick - Coop Network
Well i have noticed that when your search local per country , the results that are then displayed differ enormous..
Schlottke - It seems we are the only two that realize this error. Maybe it is only a few datacenters It has nothing to do with the fact that they rank differently or the results arent right etc....It has to do with the fact that it shows 6 results on a page where it clearly thinks its displaying 10.
I have noticed the same things, number of results is constantly changing. Also, a few sites rank for completely different keywords, no relevance to each other or the sites themselves.
