Was just messing around today and noticed something. A look at the Google Trends for Mothers day: http://www.google.com/trends?q=mothers+day Compared to the trend for Fathers day: http://www.google.com/trends?q=fathers+day Why would it possibly be the opposite?
You can compare them both at the same time: http://www.google.com/trends?q=mothers+day+,+fathers+day&ctab=0&geo=all&date=all
probably because of valentine's day for mother's and possibly 4th of july or veterans day for fathers?
This is the question: In each graph, One big peak in each is explainable as mother's day or father's day..but what is that small peak before mother's day or after father's day.. But I think lorien said is true.
if you change the location to the United States, there is a single peak for each. The other peak is for Australia where they use different dates for these holidays.
