is that posting the message then editing and adding a poll to it? If yes, thats the right way ;)

    Yes.
The right? But why, if it should be added at once when a new thread is created?

I dont know if theres a bug in the system now.

But i posted a few polls couple of months back and it worked just fine.

Just click the check box on the bottom of the New Thread page which says:

    Works for me. :)

While you are creating a new thread there is an option at the bottom of page which says:

    Post a Poll
Yes, post a poll with this thread

Tick the checkbox there and click Submit New Thread and you would've the option of adding the poll in next page. Also, remeber to write the no. of options you want to keep in your poll as that cannot be changed later.

    Works for me.

i cant seem to add a poll either :( i checked the checkbox for 'Yes, post a poll with this thread' and gave the number of options. It never asked for the options on the next page!!

finally!!! got some help from Wacko and succeeded in adding the poll :p

Here's what you have to do.. Once you Submit the post, go to Thread Tools, and choose the poll option there. It should work.

    Thanks again Wacko!
