What happened to all the people wanting to buy sig space?

A while ago, I was getting something like 3-4 pms a month asking if I'd sell some signature space. All of a sudden, they just stopped.

Out of curiosity, what happened? Did the fad die?

Well, if the market is good for buyers, I'm suprised I dont get anymore. And just when I got a paypal account that can accept payments too, lol.

    Ah well.

I have also observed that the buyers are not willing to pay much for signature links now. There used to be a rate of $1/100posts but it has fallen to around half of it.

I have even sold my signature links @ $1/400 posts as there were not sufficient buyers @ a higher price! :(

Lol, what we need to do is hack DP, and only allow certain people to post, thus driving the prices up :p

Don't sell them and that will drive up the price.

There are too many idiots selling their sigs for peanuts, that's why the prices & demand for sig links have dropped significantly over the past few months :(

Sounds suspiciously like a BST offer, sawz. Red points coming your way? :p

I think the sig link buying was good for a while until all the cheapskates started selling their sigs for a couple of bucks and posted like maniacs to try to show how great their sig would be. These types of poster often manage to get themselves banned into the bargain so the 'lifetime sig link' would last about 2.3 days. Put a lot of people off.

Moderator sig links however, are worth purchasing. ;):p:D *rushes off to give self an infraction*
