    Fellow Dp ers ,

What are your thoughts? I run a few sites as well as most people do here and I always check through sites for sell, but I notice that a large number of Great websites that are up for sell are from members with 0 itraders. Makes you think of the saying about, "Too good to be true" . We are always looking for a great site or foundation to build from to make a great site so we do look for that great deal.

I would advice buyers to be extra careful and conduct their own due diligence when dealing with websites for sale by new members.

Try WebPermit Escrow Services. I haven't tried this, but it looks cheap and good.

If your obviously underpaying for a site then it is a scam.
If they can't provide you with some information that should be accessable by them then it is a scam.
If the information they provide looks strange (as if it could have been done using PS or something) then be alert about the deal.

Some pretty simple ways to tell if it's a scam or not. A lot will just be people trying to sell their site as they don't have the time for it anymore, or for other reasons.

It is not actually new members that have zero Itraders, I have joined for more than a year, not actually zero but I have very few Itraders, simply because I do not trade frequently. Doesn't mean I am dishonest :) . Itraders is one of the many issues you should look into when conducting business on the Internet.
