hey there dp members,
after browsing the forum I've seen fake, meaning edit, screenshots of google adsense earnings. Ive found out how easy it is to do without looking suspicous at all. Now im not bragging but warning you not to believe screenshots anymore. Theyre too easy to edit out.
Heres an example of what can be done

If you need to see the adsense earnings ask the webmaster or whoever claims to make be making that amount to give you the detailed report which will probably harder to change it.

Anything can be faked out nowadays. I guess they use the same font and replace it as long as its on a white background. The detailed report should be enough though as you say.

I've heard if you open it up in a hex editor you search for the word "PhotoShop" and it finds it that it has been edited, but even that doesn't mean anything considering they could've used a different software or just say that they were editing out the information that is against adsense TOS to show.

yea, but i used paint and firefox, no photoshoping skills: moving objects around, coloring them or nothing. Just blocked out my private information.

I don't know if you did this on purpose or to prove your point, but $4325.25 + $200.50 = $4525.75 not $4527.50. So I probably could've caught this one as a fake

I made a post in my blog about fake earnings claims a few months ago and posted an example that is 100% UNdetectable as long as you get your math right.

When someone posts a screenshot you need to take it with a grain of salt, and take into consideration their reputation, their website's reputation, etc..

there is alot of fake screen shot out there, and that can be easily generate.

yes, unfortunately there are some crooks who would provide fake stats while selling sites. thats why its important to check the seller's reputation as well as as much info you can gather on the domain/backlinks/traffic.

Saw this on youtube the other day. Took a guy about 10 seconds to change the details. Did not even have to go though all that photoshop stuff. Just clicked on some edit in a browser and deleted the old green money text and put in like $10,000 worked perfect. That makes me wonder if people are really earning $5,000 + a month on adsense
