Is Google dancing or is the DP keyword tracking not working?

Discussion in 'Keyword Tracker' started by spainexpat, May 10, 2006.

Or what? I have about 20 KWs in my DP keyword tracking that are coming up giving the error of "Unknown Google Server Error" when I check them, others are fine. But when I check them manually through Google they're appearing fine (maybe it's just the server that DP checks?).

Anyone else seeing this same problem?

Happens once in awhile with Google. Their API servers are whacky today, getting lots of HTTP 502 (bad gateway) errors.

Every time it's happened in the past, Google eventually fixes it.

I too am getting the error when checking backlinks.

Could this also be related to sites (in my case that weight anywherer from 10K - 30K) now validating with 0 weight in the Coop? I've tried reval numerous times, but no weight....

The google api has been acting up since january and I doubt Google will do anything to improve a service that makes them no money, fair enough. So is it time to offer the option in the external script to scrape google results instead of using the API. With the amount of traffic each IP/username would be generating, Google wouldn't even notice and noone would get banned.

I can't see this getting much support....

On a few of my accounts my wieght has dropped 20000's to the 1000's or 100's this past week. I was hoping with big daddy all my weights stabilize but they've been wildly fluctuating for awhile now.

woops this keywordtracker....haven't checked mine inawhile....sorry....

Google API dose not work 100% of the time.
Also this datacenter which is used by API is often far away from data on other datacenters.

Me, too. I was beginning to worry. I think I'll just ignore the Tracker until tomorrow and see if it's resolved.
