Hmmmm.... For my site - I am getting 7 different results across the 17 data centers for the number of pages cached. Interesting. What are you guys seeing? Or, should I say - what are you looking at?

Yeh, I think google is a mess right now. My guess is that they are missing some data that's supposed to be plugged in for the algo to work right.

I base this on the fact that I have been google seo'ing for several years now. I've got some sites that rank for some keywords (no apparent penalties or banning), but with other keywords I'm not in the top 200. These are keywords I KNOW I should rank well for. Got all the site age, on-site seo, and aged backlinks with correct anchor text that I should need. But I just don't show up. Every once in a while - like bang - I get ranked in the top 5 for those words... then the next day I'm gone again for a month or so. It's fricking wierd and frustrating.

DC's all upset and irratic, serps not working as they should, something is awry and has been awry for some time. Big daddy may officially be done, but the fallout is far from finished.

 

Same here, just the search engine is very unstable.

Pretty sad for a company leading their field.

 

I agree with you, I've been saying someone broke Google for months now, but there is very little discussion about. (case in point: the first replies are about the nympho swinger.)

i think google may come up with new methodology ... PR Version 2 .. hahaha ..

anyway so far google give me good traffic , just give them some time .. they wil fixed it

 

It's been going on since January, that PR update was messed up, you'd think they'd figure it out in 4 months.
