Google launches YouTube in India
Hi,

Good news for YouTube lovers in india. Now the most popular video sharing site amomg most of the people YouTube has been launched by Google in india.

People can go through it by- http://www.youtube.co.in

Sakina Arsiwala, International Manager, YouTube said,

"YouTube India would allow users to create and share videos, discover the most popular and relevant videos in India, and connect with other Indian and global users. Over time, YouTube India will benefit from an entirely local experience highlighting and featuring the content and functionality most desired by the Indian users”

Go and check india youtube ,u will find most of the video from Indian culture and India related .

I suppose that's good for Indian marketers. They will get a higher number and more targeted visitors.

yes zexy this will help more to webmasters as well as marketing companies , because now they know that most of the traffic will be from India and here they will get more exposer .

Youtube was never and will never be banned in India. It is within the top five websites browsed in India.

Youtube has now lauched in.youtube.com or youtube.co.in which is the ccTLD for local videos of India.

However, it is connected to youtube.com. I uploaded a few videos in youtube.com and they are also appearing in youtube.co.in without any problem.

It is simply that youtube.co.in filters the videos better suited for Indian residents like google.co.in makes google search more relevant for Indian people.

Hope that makes more sense.
