I have a new but big site and i'm currently marketing it, and one of them will be via adwords. My site is also adsense driven on every page. I've read somewhere (I can't remember where from) that this guy got banned for using adwords and adsense simultaneously. I'd appreciate some feedback on this. Thanks in advance guys...
No, You will not. You can use AdSense with Adwords. But, make sure that is not Arbitrage. Don't Place the ads in such a way that the visitors have no way except clicking your ads.
using adwords to get traffic to an adsense optimized site IS called Arbitrage which google doesn't like. i would not suggest it
I did a quick research about Arbitrage; and I stumbled on this video. "Adsense Arbitrage - Just the facts", on YouTube. My site is a big site and placing adsense just to help with the hosting costs etc. I woudn't really say it's adsense optimized since I put more value on the content than the adverts. Anymore suggestions from other people? Anyone here using adwords and adsense simultaneously without getting any warning or getting banned etc?
I was but decided I didn't want to get the: " Your site doesn't fit into our business model..." email. http://www.webmasterworld.com/google_adsense/3642074.htm
People saw its not allowed, but I saw many sites doing this. For example, there is a freelancing site, that uses both adwords and adsense. I suggest you ask this question from adsense support.
Your bid will be high due to smart pricing by adwords, you wont be making much money by that model ....not sure if it violates TOS
Using AdWords to drive traffic to your site with AdSense on it is not against the TOS and will not get you banned ... unless you have a crappy site. I wrote a post about this: You can use AdWords to Drive Traffic to Your AdSense Site
