New Ad Format for 336 X 280 Text

Anyone noticed a new ad format for 336 X 280 text only? I think it is still under beta testing. The new format has 2 columns for ads instead of 1 column. Do you guys think this change will increase CTR or decrease it?

interesting, I haven't seen this on any of my sites but it looks like 2 Vertical Banners (120 x 240) side by side :)

I sure hope they will make this a second choice and not replace the existing large rectangle. Until I tested it myself on my websites and see a lasting improvement in CTR I wouldn't want to change my best performing unit.

I don't like the spaces between ads.

    Looks interesting.

I think we will know after we see this ad unit in action :)

so far the current 336 x 280 ad is already performing the best for me. i hope google will make this new change as an extra option instead of replacing it. anyway lets just see how it goes. it will be available to all publishers i guess once its officially live.

Looks like junk to me. I like the large ad units because the ads continue in one line, not broken apart!
