Your experiences with Wiree.net?

    Recently had hosting with them.

Wont say much, but at this point, I had cancelled and moved to a new vps.

Stupidly forgot to cancel my paypal subscription, so they recieved a payment of $29.95 USD.

Put in a dispute, and shortly thereafter cancelled to allow Freddy, and his team to refund me.

Have spoken to Freddy and submitted tickets which have been briefly responded to with a "We'll get back to you" and then promptly closed.

So, what are your experiences with Wiree.net?

I could go on about the attitude of the staff, and the downtime I suffered whilst being under their hosting services, But I think the refusal to refund a misplaced payment is enough.

    No mixed up story.
    Freddy is just Rotten.

You move hosting and he will screw you anyway he can.

    For example!
Someone I know runs some watch tv sites that he hosted VERY BRIEFLY with Freddy.
When he told Freddy that he was moving host, Freddy threatened to report his sites.. AFTER HOSTING THEM ON HIS SERVER.

He is unprofessional, agressive, and unreliable.
    All around scam artist.

I have to disagree with that completely, most hosts would voluntarily give a refund the moment they were aware of the payment being processed after it should have been canceled. Or at least I would. That is poor ethics and you should file a dispute for it.

I agree with you. We have refunded money to people that have canceled their hosting but forgot to cancel the subscription.. We have also notified people when they have made double payments by mistake and refunded the over payment to them..

Exactly, if the host knows that you canceled your hosting with them, and you forgot to cancel your subscription, they should refund you since you're no longer receiving service from them. I'm sure Freddy has an excuse somewhere, but nonetheless, just file a dispute and try to get your money back.

I had filed a suit originally, but that was before I cancelled the subscription. Now I'll have to call paypal (an extrenuous long distance call) to have anything even considered to be done.

Im hoping some good nature somewhere in Freddy will have him refund my money.

I have already offered court to him through a new ticket I submitted today. I get a free lawyer from my college, so even if its just for the principal of the thing, I wont mind doing it.

I am right there with Samurai.

This guy is terrible. I had 2 weeks with him and cancelled because his slow ass servers couldnt handle a site with more then 10 people a week. So day before i got my dedicated server setup conveniently his server went offline for almost a week so i couldnt get the newest up to date backup. Right after that it had about 1 hour uptime per day more or less for the week after that. Then had to nerve to ask if i was going to continue hosting with him.

He constantly makes a new hosting website about every 4 months to make it seem as if he has changed. I have asked for a refund numerous times but his unprofessionalism is just to bad to handle.

I know the mods here can do nothing about him since thats not really there job.. But i think banning him from the webhosting section of DP would make life easier.

I could careless if he comes in here and tries to make himself sound better and try to put down me and samurai saying we did something wrong (seen this done many times) this guy is just a lowlife nothing more.

    HAHA, Freddy, good nature?

No, Freddy may not exactly be the nicest person in the world but he should refund you. Can I ask what service exactly you had? If it was something like a VPS with cPanel/DirectAdmin then you may only qualify for a partial refund as the money for the license may have already been sent to company who issues the license.

But, we'll wait for Freddy's input, I'm sure we'll see it soon ;)

Now that the refund will be had, Let's recap:

Freddy Is VERY Professional SEEMING the first day you sign up.
After the payment is in though, all hell breaks loose.

    1) After getting my sites on my wiree.net vps, Freddy promptly visited my anime related site, and started calling people in the chat Fags, Assholes, and all around being a dink and swearing at them. (And we are talking alot of users who are around 13 years old.)

    2) He added ME to msn about some problems, then had an issue when I talked to him about problems over msn as opposed to using the ticket system

    3) Lies, Cheats and Steals. Im not the only one he's done this to.

    4) If you say you are going to move service after your time with him, he will Screw with your servers, cause downtime, prevent you from getting your data, and even threaten you.

    5) Nuff Said?

So in the end, what have we learned? Google search a company before jumping on with them, let the results speak for themselves. Do a whois and see how long they have been in business. Especially the google searching!!!! I can't stress that enough.

    I did a whois.

Wiree.net has been registered for quite some time.
Other than that I heard a few good things and a few bad about Wiree.net, but thats the same with any company.

I took a shot, and in the end it was a waste of money.
Just one more experience to add to the block, and some informative posting in here for anyone looking for hosting to reference about Freddy.

Hate to be rude but havent found a single webhost here that actually can have a solid month of no downtime or issues.. AsHagg here on DP was the only reliable one I have found...
