"Set your own price for goods". Would you buy?

Im wanting to do something different

Everyone's heard of how Radiohead recently sold their album online, where people paid what they wanted for it: what about selling my script/software in the same manner?

Currently, I'm selling at a fixed price of $19.97 ($14.97 for DP) at my website, http://www.pangeaenterprisesltd.com , but wonders: would I do better if I offered the script for a price the customer wants to pay?

    Would you buy it?

And how much would you pay? To cover PayPal costs, I'd charge a $1 and then get people to pay what they want ontop.

    Any thoughts?
    Cheers guys

I think it would work if your site has a huge traffic.

    Right: I've done it!
Im now letting people set there own price for my software. Anyone interested? You now dont have to pay the amount I want, but the amount you want!!!
    It's novel at least!
