i asked him hes like paypal phoned him.. and then he never replied anything.

Also i called godaddy and said that it was unauthorized transfer and they told me to email but the seller canceled the domain and has probably already bought up the domain. What are my chances of getting my domains back? and my chances of winning the paypal dispute. As the domain is under his name and the name he used on paypal. Doesn't that mean i gave it to him?

First, try to contact him,and tell him what you want?

Do you keep any good evidence,if so,try to contact the domain company.

Paypal will protect the scammer. Truth or false what you say, one of the two of you is the scammer, that's the guy who'll get the money from Paypal. About godaddy, I don't know...

Leave a -ve Itrader and contact Paypal, I think this is all you can do. For Internet transactions it is caveat emptor.

Sorry about that, paypal is not a good payment processor for domain sales.

Asking seller, hopefully gets a response. So the scammer always wins? That's kind of ironic.

Also what do you suggest as a good payment for domain sales? Escrow?

For bigger sums of money it is better to use escrow services, the scammer normally wins as he is well prepared on what to do when you fall for his bait.

Do you know where he lives? And what about you? Can you reasonably take legal action or threaten him/her with it?

Well that's interesting, if the info is real, and you are in the US too, you can consider legal action.

If you can prove the fraud, you should report him to the authorities and/or sue him.

But give him a reasonable chance to fix the problem before taking action.

You can call him, write to him, fax him, email him and then proceed legally.

I doubt seriously that a fraudster would be stupid enough to leave real information on the Whois.

Looking into it, it does look fake.

But fake info might put the domains in doubt, possibly.

I would contact the registrar about it, since he's definitely a fraudster.

I came across a thread that mentions only 2 domains, not 13 though...

Be sure to save copies of all the emails you got from PayPal and Godaddy!

If the the email addresses and the street addresses match between GD and PP you may very well win this on appeal. These emails are the only real proof you have.

Best wishes. This sounds like a major PITA.

Well he is online right now. Maybe he will answer the charge. You just have to be a bit more careful with higher priced transactions.

Did you do this through PM because there is no responds from him in the thread and you did not state it was sold.
