    Hi All,

I want to try a CMS / Blog that integrates well with vBulletin.

I found below integration component for WordPress + vBulletin
    http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=134521

    My Questions :-

    1) Is it a good idea to have WordPress + vBulletin + vbSEO ?

I am thinking about this combination because WordPress is basically good for SEO and vBulletin can be made better for SEO by using the component vbSEO. So my site may have decent advantage in search engines.

    2) Has anyone already tried this particular combination ? Can you please share your positive / negative comments about it ?

    Thanks in advance...

I combined Joomla and vBulletin. I don't like WordPress, it's not a good way to build a big site. Joomla or Drupal should be a better choice if you have big plan for your site.

    Hi seanray,
    Thank you for the feedback.

Did you use BBPIXEL integration component for Joomla + vBulletin ?

I heard Joomla is very (server) resource intensive and could be problem for very large sites. That's why I am hesitating to use Joomla.

If you don't mind, can you please show your site where Joomla + vBulletin is installed ?

    I prefer a CMS + vBulletin
But there are not many options are available.
    vbDrupal is one man project.
vb + Joomla component seems to be too much resource hungry. Also not really good SEO by default.

So for SEO purpose, I turned on to Blog (WordPress) + vBulletin option.

vBulletin is too good to lose. What to use along with that (CMS / BLOG) is my problem now.

Do you suggest any other options for this ?

Is there an integration component available ? Where ?

I like Drupal, but I was told it's difficult to handle 1000 logged-in members when using Drupal. You may need lot of server resources...

I have already tried and implemented it, check it out here :
Amit Bhawani Blog [Wordpress] + Amit Bhawani Forums [VBulletin] = Both bridged using a vbulletin wordpress plugin, and this way every new blog post is auto created in the forum as a new thread.

    Your site is really nice.

I think you installed your WordPress blog in /blog folder.
Then what's the home page http://www.amitbhawani.com/ built on ?

Is it a static page ? Do you update it daily with links to all latest posts ?
