vBulletin : Best integration with which CMS ? - Please help...

    Hi All,
I got vBuleltin forum installed in my domain in /forum sub-folder.
But want my site (technical site) to be a complete site (blog, newsletter, tagging, forum,...) rather than just a forum.

So I am thinking of installing any other CMS / products that are integrable with vBulletin.

Can you please suggest any and share your thoughts on what is the best option for me ?

Currently I have below options (Don't know which one best) :-

    1) vbAdvanced + vBlog + vBulletin + vBSEO + Zoints (My concern is that the website looks more like a forum if I install all these vB components)

    2) vbDrupal = Drupal + vBulletin

    3) WordPress + vBulletin ( Integration Component : http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=134521&page=73 )

    4) Expression Engine + vBulletin (Integration is not available.)

    5) VIVVO + vBulletin (They provide some integration)

    Please suggest...

Feel free to add any other options also...

Note: For various reasons, I have ruled out SubDreamer, Joomla, Miraserver, PhpCow even though they provide integration with vBulletin...

Depends how you want it to work. If you simply want the layout to look the same through-out the network. Have all the layouts made to look the same.

No CMS is needed unless you want a blog, in that case you would use Wordpress.

Sorry for not being very clear.

    - I want the members information to be shared across both applications (vBulletin & CMS).
    - Members should register only once and should be able to login / logout anywhere in the website (single sign-on).
    - vBulletin forum threads should show up on home page...

That'd be mine - I assume that it's a good thing that it doesn't look as much like a forum as some...

    Thanks!

    Take a look at MKportal - http://mkportal.it/

The benefit of MKPortal, it offers full integration so there is no need for a bridge. I have mkportal running on my sons Team Fortress Forum, so if your interested go take a look. It was just installed last week, so there is not a whole lot of content on the home page.

    Hi

After reading many posts like this, we decided to create an Expression Engine solution which merges both vBulletin and Expression Engine into one login. Both systems run separately but have one EE Login screen which dual logs you into both systems. The login account can be held on either or both systems. Find out more on http://www.eevolution.co.uk/index.php/addons/vbee .

    Thanks

    Tim & Ian
