How long did it take you to start making money on Adsense?

I cannot seem to break the $3.00 a day barrier...does anyone have tips on how to break that barrier? How long did it take you to break it...I would prefer to get responses from those with blogs...but sites work just as well.

 

On my forth day with adsense I made it to $2.10. I ahve'nt broken the $3.00 per day, but I have made $5.00 =)

 

Unless you're really struck gold on a site, I figure $1.00 - $2.00 per day is pretty good. Time to open a new site and build that to $1.00 - $2.00.

At least, that's what I'm going to try.

Right now I'm hovering right at $1.00 - $4.00. My max day was $7.50.

 

It's all about content and traffic. Bet on that...

 

SEO hard work and patience ...

 

Alright I get that...but working more than one site makes it harder to update things...I mean theoretcially I could have up to 65 different blogs with mostly different niche's but I dont want to have to update 60 something different blogs...that would really blow. There isnt a way to make it up to that next step? I mean come on, I hear guys talking about making thousands a day...

Traffic = $$$

So try to increase traffic.

Build lots of backlinks.

Add content in your site on regular bases.

 

First of all that .asia site is pretty badass...secondly...whats the best way to build backlinks? I mean I am submitting to directories but does that really help? How do I go about checking EXACTLY how many backlinks I have...I know of the link:marketingpenguin.com...basically what I did was transfer everything from one blog to this one and I have had this one less than a month but its already on pagerank (even though its 0) and its getting decent traffic. What I am looking for is how I optimize what traffic I am getting into Adsense...like is there a setting or something on Adsense where I could change the types of things that pop up and is there a way to determine what works best for my site?

I have google analytics, Adsense, Adbrite, and otehr tools...so I know its possible I guess just wondering how..

Seo work and good keywords. The terms you use on site decide ads so make sure to pick some high paying ones if you can.

it take hard work and patience x 10, i'm talking about good adsense earning, not $2 the first day and tomorrow nothing !!

 

i know some good and honest techniques to increase earning using adsense.

 

It is not all about traffic but targeted traffic. Traffic that converts well to clicks.

For me it is just starting to make money, after six months. Nothing much. But i think the most important is to continue the work and wait. Most people fail to wait and after a few months give up.

True that...I know what you mean...once my sites traffic went down, I stopped making as much money on adsense...its kind of lame...you have to keep at it every single day.

 

Or you need good traffic sources.
