If you really believe your own hype, then go for it. If Pizza.net only reached $1.1m, I can't see 1-pizza.com reaching any more than that, to be honest. In all honesty, I think it'd struggle to one-thousandth of that. However, your justifications about the dash are a load of bullshit. In this case, if I register a domain like m-y-d-o-m-a-i-n.com - are you saying this is the most mobile, ultra-cool, unforgettable domain name ever? That's the feeling I get with your promotional ad on eBay, full to the brim of BS. The 1- makes the domain look like a phone number. New ideas and innovation require new approaches and 1-Pizza.com is the only domain offered at TDNAM or Sedo that makes sense to a human No one thought pizza.net was worth more than 400K before it sold so we'll see. Domain sales have expanded to the world market and in Europe, especially Germany domains with hyphens are preferred. The more competitive a keyword is, the higher the value of a short keyworded domain. Pizza.com couldn't be any better for targetting the keyword 'pizza'. For instance, the.com is potentially worth well over $10m+ simply because of how competitive the keyword is.

Near as we can tell, all dot com domains containing the word pizza appreciated about $500 to $1000 in April 2008 due to the huge sales prices of pizza.com and pizza.net .net not sure but the Wow is cool. We say it louder like the gal on TV ROFL We are developing our marketing (hype as Spider-Man suggests ) and modify our pitch as we see better ways to connect with people. The DP Forum is a good spot to learn! The crust thickens - Pizza companies challenged if they didn't buy pizza.com or pizza.net. 1-Pizza.com looks like a phone number, makes sense to humans and a viable marketing solution for mobile internet pizza sales website. Like Avis vs Hertz, limits field to two players. As such, 1-Pizza.com is the next best domain after pizza.com in a field of 10 top pizza companies. 1-Pizza.com is innovative and as a dot com domain, an excellent transition for mobile surfers to adopt
I like 1pizza.com but 1-pizza.com follows the format of a US phone number. We had an email from the folks that own 1taco.com and they thought theirs was better until we mentioned the phone format associates 'taco' to mobile surfers. It is marketing and an option for peeps that don't get the main keyword domain. Some stuff takes a second look; like 'I (heart) NY' but now it's just an easy slogan to pick up on.
I just typed pizza into google and pizza.com and pizza.net dont even make the first page. Yet they are worth millions?
1-Pizza.com vs Pizza.net, I'm sorry but please get back down to earth lol, there is no comparison in these two names, or the only thing they have in common is they have the word pizza in them. I have OrderPizza.asia but that is still way out of the class of Pizza.net.
