I would like to hear everybody's positive experiences with the COOP thus far. What are the best methods to gain weight. I am personally interested in non-bb sites. I have been adding some articles to my site and hoping to get better PR by adding backlinks. I was wondering what else there is to do..... Thanks!
Best way to gain weight? Eat a lot and don't do anything... No, really... You should have a website with good content, not spammy one... Usually forums are hitten by the duplicate filter because of the layout-like code, very similiar between pages... I don't know what your website is about, but if you have news, instead of "recycling" them you could build a news archive, more pages for G to index, more weight for you. Also, PageRank is important, but to keep improving your weight you should put new pages with different and original content.
Can you keep the layout the same and just change the content or will G consider that the "same page" and be hit by the duplicate filter? What does the filter check for....layout, images, content? Thanks.......
If you search for "similar pages" you will find a lot about it. You can also use the similar pages checker in order to see how equal your website pages are. The layout (tables, images, navigation), the content (a gallery with 10 images per page and no text), etc...
see first post....I am adding articles into directories (about 3 a day).....thanks for the help though My pages are roughly 20% the same...is that good or bad? Will G see these as different pages or is that # too high? Thanks........
Another idea... Start a reprint article directory using blog. Google doesn't seem to reject this, even though there's a possibility of duplicated content elsewhere on the Internet. Just play around with the title and create your own excerpt for first 100 words. It should escape the duplicated content filter
Easy.. just do the opposite of dieting... eat more and move less. But what kind of weight gain do you want? The above will make you fat, lazy and destroy your health. If you want to gain muscle weight then you are going to have to lift heavy weights and consume lots of good wholesome foods. Make sure they are low GI foods so you gain muscle not fat caused by eating a high GI / high carb diet.
