I offer a free PHP Amazon Product Feed Script available at... ThinkBling.com With it one earns commisions for selling Amazon.com's products. It is constantly being improved and is working up a nice little support community.
what CPU% does it use when google doing a deep crawl ? as others i have tried have been so high, that without a dedicated server, the host does not like them *sigh*
Google hasn't hit it very hard. I have a static experiment setup at... static.thinkbling.com but I've never been "Google Bombed" per se. I don't have the CPU percentage statistics either. Sorry.
What do you mean by "static"? Does that mean that these pages are not getting the most recent data from amazon, but that you cache the files every so often?
Look at the URLs of the store pages. Think mod_rewrite. I've got over 1,000,000 Amazon URLs indexed in Google by doing that (Using MrRats script and my mod_rewrite hack.)
AOM is not SEO Friendly, and its expensive, take a look my review for the new Amazon Affiliate Script, the script is WP based, there is 2 type of script, wp-plugin, and stand alone script based wp.
