I had a thought the other day that came from implementing zfeeder and that was would it be possible for say 3 really good forums to syndicate. You know how it is when you are really busy, you rely on the forum you have signed up with to email the changes to bring your attention to the posts - or, you use the little link panel on KWT when you are doing your daily routine - but what if we took a wider picture and used the techniques illustrated to link the threads across forums?
Perhaps that would be a nice start - but I thought it might be quite cool, perhaps a little unmanageable tho, to mix and match the threads say between here and SEOguy, abacus.
I doubt they'll give shawn database access, though scraping it off their site shouldn't be hard with fopen etc. That way it wouldn't be real-time though. I see what you mean, it would be very handy to have a site where you submit all forums you have subscribed to, maybe enter your ID and that script would track progress in those threads you posted in and also displayed the new posts and so on. Interesting idea yet not easily implemented in an ethical way... It does help that most forum are either phpbb or vb nowadays.
