Hi Guys, Im somewhat new at this. I have logged a few accounts on this network and think its great. I did just check my actual account now. I used to have a weight of 7000 but now it is completely gone. All I have is the small referral rate I got for signing up another site. Can anyone tell me why this might have happenned? All my ads are appearing fine at the moment.
The same happened to me. If you use the DP tool to check the no. of indexed pages for your site, you may find alot of your pages were dropped from the index?
Just a personal opinion. I think it depends when you check it. According to my observations every day google updates the index. To do that they drop the old pages to update the onces cashed on the day. Time is difficult to estimate as I'm not sure at what datacenter the coop is looking and usually it happens at different times on various datacenters google is using. While they doing the update if you do an allinurl search in google the number of pages shown drops by as much as half. The problem usually fixes itself within a few hours. A few questions jump to mind: Is the coop using the weight from the user account or it has it own preset times to check google and calculate weight? I suppose overall it will balance out over time but if it happens you do a query at that time (or if your server is down in that instance for that matter) and then update the weght days later you loose out. How exactly 'pages in url' are calculated. They allways seem to be a lot lower than the numbers shown in google.
Got a site that shows no weight, too - it's still got nearly 20,000 pages in Google, and displays 3 ads - was 60,000+ weight + referrals - now it's simply a referral weight. Re-uploaded new set-up files in case, and repeatedly revalidated on subfolders, then main domain - no effect. Am not using the API to keep check. A little disturbing to say the least. No idea what's happening - 2 other accounts not affected.
Did you all check your pages (no matter how many K) don't show up as 'supplemental results' in the site: results? If they are low content script generated pages like Amazon feeds etc. then chances are you are hit by the renewed and tighter duplicate content filter (or crap-content filter or little-usefeull-content filter).
