I can recommend three right off the bat that I have used for the past 10 years (I used to be in public relations in a former life!): 1. The Copywriter's Handbook by Robert W. Bly - just about anything by him is great. 2. Persuading on Paper by Marcia Yudkin - also great. She has a website too that dispenses free advice. 3. Influence by Robert Ciadini, Ph.D. IMO, not much has changed in good copywriting under the new technology media, except possibly the more casual, personal tone. If you read the new Internet marketing gurus, they will credit the classics as being the most influencial in their careers. I hope this helps. StacyO p.s. - Most of these you can find at local libraries if you want to look them over.
Persuasive Online Copywriting by Eisenberg, Eisenberg and Davis. This is a great book that will get your mind going about a thousand miles an hour. They are the guys from www.futurenowinc.com, check it out.
If you have a site that is already indexed, just place a link to your new site on it and the search engines will find the new site. Ken
