A nulled script is when somebody changes the script to remove the protection implemented by the author of the script. For example, when they remove call homes or registration checks or etc. These scripts are commonly distributed by warez sites and etc shady/illegal sites. Just remember that nulled scripts ARE illegal so don't use them for production sites!

    Thanks!

So there's no legal use. That's fine for me, just trying to learn, not really planning to use one.

ut BI have come across hosting services that allow "nulled scripts", how do they or the hosted clients get away with that?

It's just a bad web host. By allowing their customers to use stolen scripts they are more likely to get into legal trouble, at which point the host will be dead and so will your hosting.

Very often, nulled scripts also will have modified code inserted into them which allows the hackers access to your server. Very dangerous to use!

You want the truth - simply stay AWAY from nulled scripts - if you really like a script then buy it and that way u don't even get into legal problems :)

Nullified generally means that the script has been cleared of all the author protection that would send data to him when a new instalation occurs.

nulled script usually contains moronic ads which is imposibble to remove, and you may see on every of your page nulled by blah team.

I agree with those who have stated that it is extremely risky to use a nulled script for a live site. People usually add backdoors to such scripts which will allow them to manipulate your site. Let alone the embarassment when you get caught, you may end up with a legal action against you (no matter where in the world you are) if someone ends up serving illegal content such as CP off of your site/script, etc. which is not unheard of.

Even if you run the script on your local machine to get familiar with it, it is risky business. Should you do your requirements gathering and research properly, you should never need to do this.

just like falsealarm said it is very risky since 90% of nulled scripts don't work properly and the rest 10% are rubbish any way. If you like a script just kindly use the demo offered and look at everything and ask as many questions before buying it. I generally buy a script which allows some free updates when they fix some bugs or anything. Nulled Scripts are not good for anything and many scripts on the internet have a counter part with less features but are free no charge. So try and find a free script and if you cant then as around for a programmer to make one for cheap or just buy one .

How about we are using PHP encoder to encode nulled script? Will it hide whether a site is licenced or unlicenced?

    Please reply.

If a hacker nulls a script and inserts malicious code into the script and you encode it, your site and server will still be vulnerable to attacks! I promise you, it's not worth the risk of the script owner taking legal action against you nor the risk of hacker attacks.
