Hi all , I would like to know the view of SEO expert whether LSI is workable with search engine optimization or not ? if YES, How does it work and what is parameters for LSI? if NOT, why does this not work? Please, just discuss your view. how can LSI useful for SEO? Thanks and Regards Naveen
I'm not sure Yahoo has this feature in it's algorithm, does it? I thought this was only a feature of Google's algorithm.
I believe that LSI would be useful for ranking in Google's SE, and I would think you'd want to use the same keyword density with related keywords as you have with your main keywords. I haven't seen any specific information regarding this, but that's my basic strategy. As far as I know, Google is the only SE using LSI at present. I do know that using a tilde search (i.e. "~keyword") will only highlight related keywords in Google - not in Yahoo! or MSN. Sam

I'm not gonna go into details here. But how the HELL did you come up with that exact number? You will naturally get very different numbers depending on your document collection and what kind of search you are performing. Different domains different results. You claim to have written a book on this subject, one would expect atleast some academic background and basic knowledge of information retrieval. Please explain yourself.
