I got turned onto Glenn Greenwald @ Salon.com from reading LewRockwell.com. They usually link to his better articles or blog posts on the front page of the LRC site in the daily article listing. If you want to read real, substantive, meaningful political journalism, Glenn is your guy. He's a bit left, but I've read where he has taken pot shots at Clinton, so in that sense, he's a kindred spirit, in that he's not blinded by ignorant partisanship (is there any other kind of partisanship?). This is where you can find his daily stuff. http://www.salon.com/opinion/greenwald/ This has been some of his latest and greatest stuff http://www.salon.com/opinion/greenwald/2008/04/05/media/index.html http://www.salon.com/opinion/greenwald/2008/04/08/exceptionalism/index.html Brilliant writing... Here are some excerpts
his articles are so looooooooooong I usually get bored of reading them half way through. I do agree his articles are usually pretty interesting and well thought
Ha! I read 200+ comments on one of his articles yesterday. I have an insatiable thirst for political discussion.
Or you have waaaay too much time on your hands I used to do those kinds of stuff too. But what's the point ?. Mostly it's you are wrong/i am right/you are stupid type stuff.
According to GTech, I am online all day while my wife is out earning a living. Not discussing, per se. Reading discussions, ideas, posts, articles, papers, speeches etc.
Strange, but some people always seem to think that they have a better idea of us, than we have of ourselves
