I mean do you really post information because you want to help someone else and share your own insight or do you post for the nice link backs to your site mainly?
It's a really good place to learn tricks and get a lot of decent information...I bet everyone who is a daily user has traded links or bought links in some time of their use...And I bet everyone of those people have also read another thread for information...
Generally I just post to help people out if they have an odd question, but I think now days signature links carry very little weight, but they can still be very instrumental in getting a site index by google in less than 24 hours...forget manual submission, just plop it in your signature and it will almost always be in rather quickly. But I get some tips from people here and there, so I just use small bits of information to improve my sites here and there. Why not ?
I mean do you really post information because you want to help someone else and share your own insight or do you post for the nice link backs to your site mainly? Why cant it be both? I post because - I get $$ - I get a linkback (its kinda a small one but still..) - I get traffic (Well i figure if i help someone, then it be nice to take a peek )
Post co8unt not = links and the sign link doesn't have such power i post if i can help and i love the community
This is a pretty terrible place to get backlinks, and I wish people would stop posting worthless content for it. One is enough guys, google doesn't care much if the site has 50 links to your site or 1.
I lurk mostly (as you can obviously tell), just looking for good info when I need it. Obviously the purpose isn't links seeing as how I haven't posted enough even to have them. I don't feel like I've noticed too much spam that is just for links.
I'm being honest......to be a link pimp!!! but I do believe that "what goes around comes around" and its always good to share information with like-minded web developers.
Before I was only on here to get & share information but more recently I have decided to use it to help out back links. So yes, to primarily build links...
