Blog directories ?

is it worth submitting to these blog directories like these;

i dont really like the ugly buttons you have to put on your page

do you bloggers submit to these sites and is there any real benefit

 

many pr1 sites have these buttons.

what benifits do you get? im guessing theres no real link juice

so do people use them? ive been looking on a site which lists top money making blogs and none of those seem to have them

 

dude i had also submitted my blogs to these directories, but i dont think they are of any use. instead we have to put up their dirty graphics on our blog which has the following disbenefits:

1. makes your webpage heavy which results in slower loading times.
2. makes your site look dirty. decreases neatness.

i dont think they give any advantage because they hardly give you any traffic except increasing their own backlinks.

what do you guys feel about it ?

i cant see them bringing in much traffic and not alot to be gained with the link
