Logo contest: $25 to winner!

Hey guys,

I'm redoing my site and need a logo for it.

My old site is http://www.thompsonoutdoorsupply.com/

My new site will be http://www.thompsonoutdoors.com/

It should be on a white background to blend into the new site well, I believe.

As you can see, the primary color is currently #003300. The secondary color is #ff9900, but is flexible.

I would like to have mountains / trees in the logo, perhaps something like http://a1072.g.akamai.net/f/1072/206...n/rei_logo.gif

Once I choose a logo, the winner will recieve $25 via paypal or personal check (their choice), plus at least one one-way permanent link to their website.

For future refrence....

You need to offer a better prize when hosting a contest... No one in their right mind would enter this contest for a CHANCE at winning $25.00...

Most people charge 30 - 50 dollars for a logo... This is when its not a contest... Why would anyone want to make you a logo for $25.00, and not even be sure if they are going to get it or not???

I would suggest either finding a graphic artist willing to create you a logo, or bump up your prize to at least $50.00 if not higher.

Just my two cents, and maybe somthing you want to keep in mind.

I chose $25 as that was the prize for the last logo contest on DP and they got quite a few entries. Oh well, I've got a guy off RentACoder to do it for me now...
