    Anyone have any idea what this bot is. I tried to find it on google and was not successful. lwp-trivial/1.38 it has grabbed one of my atom feeds 1200 times today already.

    PERL script worm in most cases. If you look in your logs, what's the raw log entry look like? Is it trying to grab a weird looking URL?

    no, it is just grabbing the atom.xml blog feed on one of my sites. Must be hung or something. I just spoke to someone else who thinks that is the default user agent when using a certain perl module
