I noticed that globat.com is the cheapest domain registration option available (Just 1.95$ /yr). Anybody have tried their service?
    How do you rate them?

I didn't find anybody posting replies.. Seems not many are experienced with globat.. So I thought I'll experiment on them.. Just registered a domain with them.. Seems everything is normal.. If it is goes on well 1.95$ is not a big amount to get your favourite domain..

    No..
You can register domain alone for just 1.95$ (In fact I have purchased 2 domains today)

I was wondering about hosting matter.

I'd heard about the cheap domains but going to Globat and running a query for the desired name I found it was free but displaying $14.95 registration fee so I didn't proceed in the belief that $1.95 would apply if a hosting package had to be ordered.

It does allow domains alone for 1.95$ . I have taken domains only.

Some companies charge you to transfer, so watch out for that.

The great deal with Globat is low price but low service.

Indeed, it was harsh to obtain clear answers when you chat with the support. They always say, I forward your question to the appropriate person, but nothing happens. If you ask a FAQ question, they copy and paste well. But if you want more, be patient...

    My feedback.
