Moving domains, Google honoring 302?

Hello guys... I'm new here though I did search for examples and advices regarding moving domains, I'd like to ask again since people do not agree if Google honors 302 redirects or not.

I have a site at one domain and I'm planning to move it to a .org. I'm plannnig to clone the site content to the new domain, and when I'm done, I'll just make a 302 redirect to my new domain.

I'm not afraid of loosing traffic, but I do want to keep my pagerank if possible. What steps would you guys to try to avoid this?

As far as i know your site could get penalized for using a 302, google prefers a 301 redirect and a 301 should allow you to keep your PR

I'm terribly sorry, I meant 301 redirect, not 302. I heard some people saying only Yahoo honors it, while Google doesn't like it very much.

Does anyone here have any experience moving domains and using it?

Definatley something to consider when changing domain names. Damn, something I didn't take into consideration when I moved domains awhile back.
