Yahoo no longer showing backlinks
It appears Yahoo is no longer showing as many backlinks as before. Backlinks have dropped significantly and other sites are also showing much less backlinks as well. Does this represent a change of algo for Yahoo, or have they gone the Google route of hiding backlinks?

Hmmm, good question.
I've seen no reports from Yahoo on this, so far.

Yahoo's backlink information does drop on ocassion and normally rebounds. Maybe they are rebuilding their database when this occurs. I'd give it a few days before being concerned.

Ya! This was a huge drop though..not the usual slight fluctuation. i lost like 12k links.
shhh! Don't tell anyone, but I recently bought some textlinks. Since others are the seeing the same, I feel better tho  ~Az

I just noticed this today too. It appears backlink counts are down about 80% for my sites. Normal fluctuation or change in algorythm? Hmm...

How did you find it yahoo is no longer showing back links and from where you find information about the change in algorithm of yahoo?

The Yahoo site explorer is showing backlinks, it has just dropped the amount that it used to show for many sites. I have seen a drop for about half of my sites, and some of them have dropper dramatically (30-40%)

I noticed the same on my SEO Blog. It was showing quite a few back links a few months back when I last checked, and they seem to have reduced to less than half now.

I have noticed this as well but my search rankings are still the same
maybe yahoo has decided to hide backlinks like google does.
