Google Analytics - Delayed Reports

I don't know what is going on, but it seems they started reporting with 1-2 day delay.
It's even impossible (at least not accurate) to check stats for yesterday.


Is it me, or...

yea i noticed that yesterday aswell the delay was 2 days and still is 2 days, most recent stats i see are from 11. march

and its a bit annyoning to be honest, i cant work with most recent stats and need to wait for google to update

Ok it seems when i set the date manuel, i can see the stats from 12. march

Correctly, if you set date 13. you will see stats from 12, but stats are not correct (not completely updated).

Hopefully they are correct when updated. I bought a heap of advertising and I wanted to see how it went.

Use! statcounter it works really faster

The delay makes it very difficult to react to daily articles and news releases, I like to keep an eye on referring sites every few hours to see whats happening in forums etc..

I agree.

By the time you get the data from Google, it might be too late to do anything about it.

It also bugs me the way it keeps resetting the date range when changing dates

AND...

it won't update the date range to include the latest day.

I find it necessary to use Statcounter AND analytics.

Statcounter may not be as comprehensive as Google, but they provide real-time stats and offer more detail in certain areas (like time on site and invididual visitors).

I noticed this too and was going crazy trying to figure it out, glad to know it's not just me. I'm guessing they'll fix it soon, it's not the first time Analytics has had some bumps. There have been at least several times in the past that my daily report has recorded only 75% of traffic, but within the next 24 hours the data was corrected.

My reports have been delayed for a few days straight now, so I do hope this gets sorted soon.

I was just reading about this too and have it effecting a friends site. He can set the date to the current date and get yesterdays report though, not sure about how complete it is. He thought he broke something, glad to see it is everyone.

I’ve noticed the delay also and I’m finding it very annoying. I hope they sort it out, or I might switch to Mint.

I do think that analytics is just 1 day delay...

I think there is a bug in Google analytics that is not properly reporting the data; the day's results are there but for some reason are shown by one day off. It has been a problem for 2-3 days now.
